Made in the USA HEPA filter is rated to filter 99.97% of particulate which is 0.3 microns or larger. The multi-stage design filters medium and large particulate while extending the life of the HEPA Filter. The air-purifying blower has 2 speeds, 180 & 210 litre's per minute (LPM), which can be manually adjusted or will automatically increase speed to maintain positive pressure. The bright LED screen displays current battery life, filter life and air flow. Lastly, the blower has audible & vibration alarms to notify operator to change filter or battery. The air-purifying blower is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which provides 9 hours of continuous battery life. The premium Li-Ion design is resistant to capacity drain and is rated for over 500 charges. The charging time from 0% to 100% is 3 hours / 180 minutes with the provided 115 V charger which also has a LED light which turns green at full charge. The 3250D FGS PAPR helmet assembly features a two part design with a the base being a air-tight clear anti-fog face shield which provides 161 degree field of view. The top part features an extra auto-darkening lens and shade 5 IR side windows to provide excellent field of view the "flipped-down" position. Classified as a Loose Fitting Powered Air Purifying Respirator which means that an users does not have to undergo a medical fit test before use. Additionally, the loose fit design allows users to have some facial hair. These are two advantages PAPRs have versus half mask respirators such as N95, N100, P95 or P100 models.
